I've just seen this movie poster when I was on the bus:
It was on a bus shelter, so you get a bit of dwell time from people waiting for the bus. You also get people like me on another bus driving past. I get a little less dwell time.
As I looked at it only for a few seconds, my reactions were this:
1) Vince Vaughn is a bit of a knob isn't he;
2) I must remember not to watch the movie 'The Truth Hurts';
3) ... oh, it's actually called 'The Dilemma'
Yeah. Take another look. Those huge words at the top aren't the name of the film. That's confusing isn't it? It's so confusing, I wondered what google would bring up if I googled 'The truth hurts' so had a look:
It seems the digital/ media/ SEO company had exactly the same issue with the creative as me and bought the space. A nice way to reverse out of a creative problem. (A creative problem that should never have been there... but that's another story...)
I would have loved it if they'd contacted the Warhammer site owner of the top and bought some space on his site in a creative way as well though... maybe having a Vince Vaughn Warhammer character on the homepage pointing the way to the proper site...
